  When it comes to these so called "Literally me" type of films, most people misinterpret them as "these people are so flawed just like me and we'll never be good" while movies like Drive subverts that entirely. While Taxi Driver was depicting someone projecting their personal struggles on outside problems, Drive shows us a cold yet lost individual trying to find his own inner peace and puts EFFORT on it, wanting to get out of dark crime he once called…

  I had a great conversation with Chris Sanders when I was at Comic Con 2024. He really has a lot of passion for art including stories he loves. He combined that perfectly with this film after sharing his experiences when he started out. Congrat to him and all Dreamworks Animators for making this!

  The Last of Us but with journalists.

  In all seriousness by act 3 I was already starting to analyze this film for its interesting interpretations. Symbolically this shows how journalists feel mortified by the horrors they have to face and survive when they're doing their job researching the current wars that occur. And I'm talking about ones like Iraq, Ukraine and Palastine. We all know how terrible these are.

  And I can believe why California and Texas can become allies…
