I felt like there were a few scenes where they didn’t know what to do with their bodies when they spoke. I think it likely had to do with the fact that they were in a warehouse, but they just stood so awkwardly (in my opinion) in a way where I couldn’t feel immersed in the movie. This film reminded me to cherish what is important in life. It was a great reminder to slow down and reevaluate what we should prioritize in life, and a reminder to not let opportunities pass us by in the speed of life. I loved the use of the daughter’s, Jobu Tupaki’s, different outfits; they helped express her emotions, and portrayed her desperate desire to get her mom’s attention.
