I loved this so much more than I expected to!! It’s by far the most existential of his works which is funny and I really want to rewatch it with all the pieces put together. I love how minimalistic the script is and how stunning it is visually. Best ghibli since Howls moving castle
I also found it helpful to know that the book Mahito picks up is called “how do you live?” Which is the title of the movie in Japan.
