Not another WWII movie! I actually really enjoyed this. Felt more like a 1940s movie than a world war 2 movie if that makes sense. Saoirse Ronan was great as always, and convincingly British to my Canadian ears. AND she sings! Someone said this was unsubtle, which is definitely true, but I think it was a good, suspenseful, heartfelt, well tempoed movie that could bump out another war movie on someone’s roster.

Practical Magic 1998
The perfect October movie—cozy, witchcraft, small town, an exorcism, sisterhood, a scene with coconut by Harry Nilsson. Really got me in the spirit.
The pacing was a little crazy at the start but young Sandra bullock and Nicole Kidman made it all worth it.

Tbh I had an awesome time watching this, it was kinda hard to buy-in at the start but by the end it felt like they knew how ridiculous it was and were fully leaning into it
