Is there a better description of a cube than its construction? Lazlo's reluctance to explain himself, letting his work speak for itself, stands in stark contrast to those around him who construct elaborate but dishonest narratives about both Zionist and American exceptionalism. His refusal might be read as a rejection of both justifying and perpetuating systems of violence, which are clearly the only two options in the face of structural violence and genocide. However, the ending leaves open the question of whether such a refusal is ultimately possible or merely another form of self-destruction, easily rewritten to serve both narratives.
