I haven’t seen the first movie, but I did watch a recap video before, so that’s good enough, right?
The plot is kind of predictable at times, but that doesn’t take away from the heart-warming story between Maverick and Rooster. Also the dog-fight football scene is *chefs kiss*. The plane maneuvering looks CRAZY and fun and this has pretty much everything you would want out of a movie like this.
I watched this after watching Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. This movie was made over 10 years before the sequel and you can tell. The animation quality and storyline don’t hold up as well, but it’s still a fun kids movie. The character development on Humpty Dumpty doesn’t completely make sense, but glad to see he got a happy ending.
SUCH A GREAT MOVIE! I haven't seen a ton of the Shrek franchise, but I love all of the characters and how their fairytales are woven into their stories. This is a movie that everyone can enjoy from kids to adults. It doesn't take itself too seriously, yet there are still deep moments that make you think.
