Poor Things 2023
Definitely a Yorgos Lanthimos movie to say the least. Been a fan of his movies and this one was up there in being the most bizarre. Emma Stone did an incredible job and Mark Ruffalo did something at the very least, but I think his terrible accent was part of the charm as the movie continued. Felt a bit drawn out at times in the middle but overall I recommend this movie to anyone wanting to watch a movie and then immediately think “what the fuck was that?” in the best way possible

What an amazing movie that has genuinely stunning cinematography. The love and relationships in this felt so real and lived in with moments of imperfection that add to the realism like when Harry and Adam first kiss and Adam forgets to breathe. I haven’t had a movie make my eye’s well up so often in a while. Highly recommend this movie. It blends a paranormal relationship with grief and romance so well.
