    Not trying to be anything it’s not, the film seeping with a distinct yet tasteful visual style that immerse you in it’s unease. Koji Yakusho was born to play these detective roles and the effects are stunning.

    If “bitches be crazy” we’re made into a film, it would be this. While the plot is absolutely bonkers and every possible wrong decision is made, it is so goddamn entertaining that I gotta give it props. The incessant rain also does a great job in strangling the viewer into a sense of hopelessness, making it seem like this is one nightmare that you won’t wake up from.
