I decided that I was going to watch a randomly chosen movie while on a flight and Didi was the first movie I saw. I probably would not have chosen to watch this film, but I'm so glad I did.
I felt so uncomfortable with Chris's awkwardness and I felt sad at the pain the character showed. What a beautiful film. I both cried and laughed out load. Well done.

I'm conflicted - I want to give it a full 4 stars, but I give it a 3.75 max. I love that the quirkiness of the characters remain and I like the story line of Astrid (Jenna Ortega). However, was I expecting a little more? Sort of. Is that an unrealistic expectation? Perhaps.
Regardless of my wishy washy review, it's a definite must see.
