Moonrise Kingdom 2012
I’m ngl I pissed my pants before this Valentine’s Day movie night. No I wasn’t nervous, I was just out buying wine and really had to fucking piss.
Didn’t watch much nor finish buuuuuuuut still a great movie!! I can’t believe last time I watched it I was their age! The dialogue blocking is peak Wes Anderson and the color grading 😩👌. Very much identify with the younglin and really appreciated the non linear narrative and how it all came together!

Step aside David Lynch, there’s a new sheriff in town. A one shot horror masterpiece with an incredible story line that keeps building on itself. Makes the 21st century look aesthetic asf.
Insane acting by the main cast that together w the one shot aspect make the film very immersive. Not to mention one of the best mixed audio tracks I’ve ever heard that really took advantage of Spatial Audio.
Honestly, one of the best movies that came out of 2024. 5/5
