Count Orlok has diabolical preorder game.
Very well shot, and very atmospheric - especially the scenes approaching and within Orlok's castle in the first half; they felt exactly as I imagined them when reading Dracula. Lily-Rose Depp's performance was very impressive, and Willem Dafoe's slightly campy, legally-distinct van Helsing added some levity that was not unwelcome.
Another gem for me was Herr Knock - an adaptation of the madman Renfield from the novel. I enjoyed the explanation that the film…
