  Vivid picture of both the glamour and perniciousness of “the industry”. Absolutely captivating as a period piece where parts feel deeply rooted and informed by the setting in the late 70s and early 80s while at the same time pushing the viewer to consider what aspects of what they witness is timeless or at least still present.   They should make every movie like this. Watching raising Arizona is one of those moments where you realize so many of the things you’ve seen and you love were clearly influenced by what you’re seeing. What a blast. One of the kindest and most enduring visions of Arizona I’ve ever seen, and though I’m biased I think a more accurate one than we’re often shown. Overall great time with a real heart at its core. Lovely!!
