    This is my absolute and undeniable favorite film of all time and I am FINALLY able to log it on Letterboxd!!

    John Williams’ score is iconic and is a major factor to how well this film has aged. George Lucas puts so much due emphasis into the music, making it feel almost like its own character.

    This was a very captivating watch. I've found in the last few months that I'm quite a fan of a political drama and this is no exception.

    Fiennes performs spectacularly as Lawrence; portraying a man in question of the church and perhaps of God. A man whose moral compass, through these challenges, is far sturdier than many of the cardinals that surround him.

    This was so close to something really great. The plot is unique and whimsical and the shots are tasteful. Unfortunately, I felt like I was watching the actors on their first day "off-book," and with their lines just memorized enough to get through.

    That said, I'm glad that one of the cinema Instagram pages I follow happened to promote this short film. I'm excited to see where Turkiewicz goes from here.
