    definitely a stretch to call this a comedy.. only amusing thing about this movie was I could snap my fingers and go “oh! oh!!” at the Chicago locations it was filmed at (and only because I live here). sickeningly boring and early 2010s hipster core

    God I hate/love Lars von Trier. What a preposterous, infuriating, cathartic, stupid, genius film this was. That ending, combined with the ending credits, gave me so much sick satisfaction that I was dancing alone in my room for the entirety of the song. Having only seen Antichrist (which I didn’t care for) and Dancer in the Dark (which I LOVED), I was on the fence but now I think I gotta watch the rest of this nazi mf’s movies.
