The Shack 2017
The storyline/message was great—but the execution was not it for me. It seemed very emotionally manipulative in so many instances and I did not appreciate that at all. Though I love the idea that God reveals himself exactly when and how you need Him, so much of this just seemed to be dragged on for no reason. They could have ended it so much sooner honestly… Like the idea, but that’s all I can say about it :/

Loved this… First time I’ve ever seen anxiety attacks pretty accurately portrayed. I love the characters, love the music, love the storyline. What I struggled with was the extreme second hand embarrassment I got watching Riley do anything—like over the top. I think the way her character reacts to things is way too much and I wish they could have shown more of what it’s REALLY like to grow up at that age.
