  I was really excited by this movie, not only because of its a Brian De Palma movie but its a movie about the 40s crime-mystery-case triangle and yes movie is beautifully shot but this movie is a mess. This movie can't even decide what it supposed to be. A detective story, a love triangle or pure revenge movie? Elizabeth Short' s murder case barely in the movie and unfortunately it has wrong casting choices.

  “If the Alien movie meets the Gravity movie”
  Space-themed movies released in recent years pay attention to scientific details, rules and avoid being completely fictional (arrival, martian, interstellar…) This movie is a good example of that. I just wish it was more claustrophobic like the Alien movie. Apart from that while watching the movie; You say that the characters could have planned this and done this but these details do not take anything away from the movie. They have already given a clear green light to the second movie with the last scene. If the movie was financially successful, there will probably be a sequel.

  In fact it is a success to shoot such a predictable scenario in interesting way. At the beginning of the movie, you directly see the where it wants to connect and outcome but it constantly puts forward new explanations and situations that distracting you from the real ending. It would have been a better movie if it had ended with the situation at the climax. Unfortunately, at the end of the movie, you come to the ending you predicted at the beginning.
