Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone 2001
Starting the best movie series off with a bang! What a way to begin this journey. I love Harry Potter so much and haven’t watched them in a long time. The first movie while not the best of the eight, warms you up for the story as you get to know the characters. I love the way we experience the whole first year of Hogwarts and follow them through the year long trip of uncovering the sorcerer’s stone (philosopher’s stone if you’re British). Over all a very fun and cozy watch and I’m excited to dive into year two of the journey! 8/10

I liked but I didn’t love it. The idea of the film is really intriguing and is brought to life by James McAvoy. Unfortunately no one else delivers that great of a performance. The ending is also very strange and there are several moments that don’t make logical sense. Also is no one checking on the crazy guys weird underground house!!! 6/10
