  I was inexplicably obsessed with this film as a child (I had to be under the age of 10?). It is the first DVD in my collection. However, I had absolutely no memory of it besides pieces of the scene where Don Knotts turns into a fish at the pier. Other than that, nothing. Especially not how cursed the sound?/vibration? he omitted was

  I don’t like writing reviews on here, but I was fortunate enough to see this screened at the 50th Telluride Film Festival presented by Ethan Hawke and will probably never be able to see this film the same again.
  With his lovely intro (which included a solid moonwalk) and contagious enthusiasm aside, I had only really seen this film in poor quality - definitely not pirated - on a laptop. I had a great seat in the wonderful Palm Theater…
