In the middle I was only thinking maybe 3.5/5 but fuck this movie is actually impressive. Manages to shift from gross out body horror, to over the top 50’s monster cinema seamlessly. The final 30 minutes are something to behold for sure.

Twin Peaks: The Return 2017
Started rewatching this again, and I remember this show being peak, but not THIS level of peak. Only on the fourth episode and will write another entry when I finish. Some scene are wtf, some scenes I’m laughing my ass off, and even a scene where I almost teared up, and I know those wont be the last.

2000’s pop culture references, fart jokes, Jimmy Fallon as a stoner bunny singing you really got me by the kinks, Whoopi’s Goldberg playing an opera singing cow, William h Macy playing the greatest character in cinema history with so little effort, with an incredible garnish of advanced humor. No one can ever take my love away from this movie.

The Green Knight 2021
Probably the most pleasing film of the decade for me, both storytelling and visually, I cant really imagine anything else topping this. Every scene with the green knight was otherworldly for me, even the scene with the giants.
