  A movie that does not know what it wants to achieve and that does not have any kind of tension. The writers clearly had a distain for Napoleon but didn’t even explore this further than “Haha, Napoleon is awkward and bad at sex.”. The only two redeeming factors are the pretty costumes and Vanessa Kirby’s fantastic depiction of Josephine Bonaparte. 

  Save yourself the two and a half hours and rather watch any battle episode from Game of Thrones.
