Loved this movie, was really rooting for the psycho to win and psycho-kill everyone. Live your fantasy king. Wig or no wig.
Was the detective's explanation scene at the end necessary? Of course not. Did he EAT DOWN and have the girls absolutely gasping and gagged with his psychoanalysis? Well, yes. Five stars for this alone.
Also really enjoyed Bates' constant lolly eating, sweetie-treatie-enjoyer representation on the big screen finally.
A movie that should have been called "Women Looking Impressed". Truly a masterclass in the defiant jaw AND the glistening eyes (often you get one but not the other). Take note also of the "shocked to silence by greatness" and also "superimposed image of actor over iconic footage" as is par for the course with musical biopics. Did appreciate the cunty little boot representation of the second and third acts - you can never over-strut electric Dylan imo.
