Hillarious. You can tell people passionate about cartoons specifically, not just animation, made this film. Great slapstick, dialogue, surreal imagery, everything. Beautiful animation. Typically buddy comedy plot, but this is definitely a movie where the plot is there to make way for the jokes.

A solid premise well executed. Robert Pattinson is becoming one of the only actors where I will watch something because he is in it. Was not a fan of the way flashbacks were used to flesh out the main romance. It could have been shown in chronological order and probably would have flowed better.

If I had a nickel yada yada Immaculate was better in every way. Comparisons are inevitable. The jump scares in this movie were pointless, each one unintentionally hilarious. The lighting flashbangs the viewer multiple times, and the twists were both obvious and nonsensical.

Stylish, and Mia Goth is solid as always, though I feel her talents aren’t utilized as well as they should be in this movie. Maxine strangely isn’t give much to do or say. So many scenes are characters talking at her rather than to her. I love the Satanic Panic backing, but I feel that it led to a plot and resolution that is more on the nose and says less than X and Pearl.
