  Controlled chaos in the best possible way, could have even rated it higher if not for a part where the movie loses its momentum but still picks it back up beautifully at the end. The first 1h30 were magical.
  In awe of what Damien Chazelle achieved at all levels here and Justin Hurwitz’s score is yet again impeccable!

  Preferred it to the original.

  Vivid cinematography, inspired direction, Ariana DeBose is a standout but I still can’t root for Tony & Maria and I guess that that is my main issue with both films (+ the random Jets dancing, less cringey than the first one but still laughable)

  Rita Moreno is a treasure
