Saltburn 2023
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Visually perfect--designed, lit, and edited like a music video--and with some hilarious lines ("She came from Greece! She had a thirst for knowledge!") and fantastic performances.
Feels like there are very good points in here about upwardly striving middle class people: the way they compare upward, the way they diminish their privilege and exaggerate their hardships. Those are good observations, but the real-life Ollies don't get what they get through murder, but by extorting working-class people to buy their way to be as close to the upper classes as possible.
