I was expecting something a lot deeper but I guess this works. Definitely a political satire, reminding me a lot of Don’t Look Up. It’s hilarious. Pattinson absolutely killed it. Definitely disappointed though. The concept is so great and I feel like it was wasted in the way it was used here. Solid film, really funny, but definitely political and decently shallow

Forgot how good this movie is. It’s honestly better as an adult. There’s so many jokes and references that completely went over my head as a kid

Probably the most creative film I’ve ever seen. “What is the meaning of life” might be the most popular philosophical question that movies try to analyze, and this is by far the best. So funny. So deep. So captivating. So bizarre. So beautiful. It’s perfect. And it never forgets the underlying story about an everyday family. It was AMBITIOUS to direct a movie like this, and the risk paid off. One of my new favorites for sure.

No idea how I ever hated this book. This film made me appreciate it so much more and see things in the story that I never noticed before, and that is why this movie gets 5 stars. It’s impressive to actually make a good movie that’s based on a book, but this film goes above and beyond that by actually adding value that a book would never be able to give through its stunning visuals and amazing score. It’s awesome…
