Man wtf. This shit fucking weird. Lowkey tho I was rooting for Colin’s character when he bodies that loner leader and took him and his beloved into the city. But then he wanted to go and blind himself? Nah you got me fucked up. Overall tho even with how godam weird this movie is I actually did understand the idea that oppression of society in such a drastic measure is dangerous and how love itself is equally dangerous and can even make us do things we never thought possible. So in conclusion…. I don’t fucking know.

tick, tick... BOOM! 2021
Being a Musical theater nerd myself I thought this movie and John’s story was portrayed quite beautifully. Andrew Garrfield truly gives a stunning performance where it is quite evident that he completely dived into this character and wanted to do it right by all means. The music is great but we already knew that and for his directorial debut I would say LMM did quite a good job.
