The best part of this film for me were the shots. Every landscape of Nicholas traveling was breathtaking. But I still think this movie is too “freaky” and not scary enough. As someone who doesn’t watch gothic horror, I can only say that this movie didn’t impress me. More than half of the movie was just men talking. (William Dafoe you don’t count)

This is the best series i’ve ever seen. I've never been so invested in a story and so emotionally moved.
