at times this felt more like a documentary about the two main attitudes within the church rather than any kind of commentary about faith or the place of the church which is more what i was expecting? hate to say it but even tho its fictionalised conclave does a better job of considering the church and is also just a lot more interesting. as a mini biopic of francis this is quite good tho very well cast but just a bit shallow
