Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl 2024
New W&G is utterly nothing but good news for everyone. The new Wallace voice does it right, the story is perfectly wacky, the animation is great, and the humor is spot-on. Fan service in the highest of meanings. I almost gave it a 4.5, on account of what, not having an out-of-body religious experience?! The entire assignment for this movie was to be on brand, new, and funny. Smashed out of the park. Spectacular. Give me 14 of them right now.

Conclave 2024
An interesting watch, however likely my last. I've noticed Ralph Fiennes excels with and really attracts roles with a strong conscience and sense of propriety. Similarly to Oppenheimer, I think this is a piece that actually rests a good deal on Fiennes' closeups and moments with interior conflict.
