    Mel Brooks revamps the classic literary story with comedy and geniality. The comic part is absolutely everywhere, especially in the lines, which are delivered within the comic tempo. The geniality is somewhat shrouded by the context of the movie.

    If you enjoy Star Wars, you'll enjoy this movie. Mel Brooks is a master when it comes to self-promotion. In fact, I am pretty sure he has invented this satirical strategy in order to serve as a break to what is known as "fourth wall".

    About this movie, all the classic characters from the original saga are portrayed here with a slight comic tone. Also, a well-known phrase is transformed into a jewish pun: "May the schwartz be with you".
