  “Lady Gaga, what’s next, Lord Googoo?”

  Classic Tim Heidecker stuff with enough butchered jokes, stumbled over lines, and “hot” takes to please.

  There’s a 5-minute clip of him doing the climactic joke from this set 13 years ago with an audience not as in on the bit, and it’s amazing to see it actually flop like it’s intended.

  Just as relevant now as it was upon release. A biting critique of aestheticism without purpose & the emptiness of the ‘60s, an era associated with free love, drugs, and sex on one end of the spectrum, but with war, protests, and civil atrocities on the other. How can this dichotomy exist when the two are in clear opposition to each other? What good is the counter-culture if it’s based purely on aesthetics and no real change?
