Yes, it's a slow movie. Yes, some people may find that boring. But these sometimes nerve-wreckingly long shots create a tension that makes us better understand the nearly unbearable tension in this highly dysfunctional, loveless family. It's very well done, with beautiful cinematography and good acting. And afterwards, many people may relate (I'm sorry for that) but are probably (hopefully) a bit happy that their family relationship at least isn't THAT bad.
