  A FAMILY AFFAIR is for all those moms out there. Put this on for her while you're at work and BAM! Before you know it, she'll be asking questions like, "Can we watch The Iron Claw?" and, "How does Joey King keep getting work?"

  The Christmas Candle 2013

  I think it might have been better if the candle wasn't literally magic. It was actually quite a sweet movie, but so so so on the nose in an Anglican way- the lore of the candle was clear enough! Why did we need the video game damage shield?
  I think a lot of religious/Christian storytelling can actually be moving and impactful for wider audiences if only prospective Christian filmmakers were a bit less literal!
