White Noise 2022
Noah Baumbach really rocked my socks off with this one. There’s something about the writing that felt Shakespearean, in a non-pretentious way. And the delivery on top of it, was perfect. So many moving parts all the time, so pretty to watch, heart-attack inducing lines. Money.

The Menu 2022
Originally, I thought this movie was a romantic comedy about the origin of Olive Garden.
My mistake.The Menu is just someone having a lot of money to make a star-studded live action thriller of the fine dining and breathing episode of SpongeBob, “Squilliam Returns”

Some Kind of Wonderful 1987
I’ve seen this movie probably 30 times. It’s the first movie that I remember seeing as a child, my mom owned the VHS. The underdog of all John Hughes and Edmond Dantès cinema. The apology script to Howard Deutch for the botched ending of Pretty in Pink (1986). Superior soundtrack. The key to my heart and angst.
