Do you know those movies that feel like they are trying too hard to be artistic and edgy? Well, for me this is one of them. My apologies to those that enjoyed the film.
The movie has a basic premise, a woman damaged by a traumatic childhood event grows up to be a sociopathic killer. She is triggered by sexual situations and unable to deal with her feelings she reacts with deadly consequences.
       She later finds herself pregnant…

Keri Russell plays Julia Meadows, a school teacher with a troubled past.        Paul explains that her suspicions are not out of the ordinary and that many children in their mining town have parents…

This movie is a love story about a woman and her list for the perfect man. Taking advice from her friends she throws caution to the wind and starts a physical relationship with her polar opposite. He is clearly in love with her and he is her man of the moment. It isn’t until she meets a man that checks all her boxes, that she realizes what she has given up, true love. I adore this movie, sometimes you don’t…

My favorite of the Avengers franchise, I know that this movie is based on comics but it felt real and grounded. The characters go through a myriad of emotions and you are right there with them, you understand and empathize with almost every decision they make. It makes sense how they end up where they are and It’s funny when it needs to be. You leave the movie satisfied, happy, and a bit miffed (not in a bad way, we are just so used to Hollywood endings).
