  I really wanted to like this film. Just like the Pusher films, I loved the look of this film. The scenes at night with its contrast between cool colors and warm highlights were great to look at. 
  The story however didn’t catch me at all. Even though the narrative was quite slow throughout the entire film, the first part seemed very hasty in setting up the storylines. Gosling‘s deliberately emotionless performance made it very hard to root for his character.…
