Shakespeare in Love 1998
A great love story for all those who have any appreciation for Shakespeare, and a romance for those who don’t. Great performances, smart script, killer cast, and some fun costumes. I recommend a watch.

Alien: Romulus 2024
Much better than the last few alien movies. Unfortunately, what makes it good is what also what makes it predictable. It sticks to the formula. It’s a good formula, but once you know the ingredients it kind of takes away from the finished product. The android steals the show. Great production design, and a fun mix of computer and practical effects makes for a fun movie to watch. This is not a must-see but I recommend this for fans of the Alien franchise, and for fans of sci-fi horror. I probably won’t watch it again or recommend it to casual movie goers.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga 2024
A fun watch, with some fun action. The underwhelming story does occasionally get in the way of the high-octane action I came to expect after Fury Road. Chris Hemsworth is the standout and was worth watching for his performance alone. Ultimately that this is a “watch it once” kind of movie, and not the “own and rewatch” film that Fury Road is for me.
