  book did a better job exploring the line between degradation and passion, better explored the relationship between obsessing and creating. movie just was too clumsy and in its clumsiness it got kinda yucky! also sorry not sorry but i'm not a big mahler fan

  i… could not take this seriously, two separate peope in my theater literally started snoring despite the movie barely being an hour long, and everyone else was laughing? clever idea i guess but why was it so awkward?? so many dynamics were only introduced and never actually explored? did i miss something
