Never Let Me Go 2022
I love the “Taking care of you is my job” and “I don't need a servant, I need a (boy)friend” trope, but I couldn't have enjoyed it without my brain adding its touch in too many scenes. With the good ingredients this series had, it could have been so much better, but it gives the feeling that they half-covered both the romantic and action plots and at times it feels rushed, plain and unsatisfying. That being said, I love them and it's worth watching if you like this kind of stories.

Using the lesbian romance to “fix” the straight couple was completely unnecessary AND rude. Also, the ending was pretty meh. But the production is good. I appreciated the gays, I appreciated the friendship between the characters a ton, and as an audiovisual student, this series was healing in many ways.
