Cold War 2018
This move passed very gently for me, like the cinematography was nice, the music was nice, the historical background was "nice", but I felt absolutely nothing. I kept wondering if the simplicity was intented because my expectations for this were far higher. Based on the reviews and stuff I thought this would be soul-scratching, disturbing, passionate, erotic and filled with anger. It was an unbelievably violent experience, as Gaspar Noé's film tend to feel, and my eyes were getting burned and sinking deep into my stomach along with my ears but I suppose it grasped how it feels to get stuck on a filmset that's falling apart pretty well
