This was a classic case of “everything happens but nothing happens” there is no magical ending and nothing really changes. It’s in a sense the truth of life. I loved this film and was lucky to see it in cinemas thanks to the Oscar winning films being rereleased. Kieran Culken’s Oscar win was very well deserved and he and Jesse Eisenberg were both phenomenal in this. Beautiful story and beautiful cinematography, hoping that Jesse Eisenberg will make more films because this was great.

Holy shit! How does this film get better with every single rewatch? It's actually unbelievable! This is easily the greatest masterpiece the world of filmmaking has ever seen. Every single one of Fletcher's insults had me cracking up (especially the pot of gold followed up by the chair height, genuinely started laughing just remembering it) and then it will change to the most breathtaking musical pieces…
