Just a phenomenal screenplay with twists and turns and laughs and heartbreaking moments. So loud and chaotic then suddenly silent and introspective. Mikey Madison I’ve been a fan since Better Things on FX and i’m so glad she got her praise for this movie. I could watch this movie over and over again. Another year of my favorite movie of the year winning Best Picture

Just a really perfect movie. So camp, so bitingly funny, and such a heartbreaking romance. Pride and Prejudice reimagined as 5 gay men as the Bennett sisters is truly some of the most inspired screenwriting. Extrapolating wealth in Victorian society to race and body type in gay culture is peak storytelling. These stories really are timeless. Joel Kim Booster the genius you are. This is one of my favorite comfort movies to watch and I’m shocked I haven’t logged it…

Just saw this in IMAX for the special re-release and my heart broke and was healed at the same time. Just a beautiful movie about growing through trauma and finding yourself in the process. I watched this when I was 16 and very much relating to Act 2 Chiron. Feeling alone in the world, crying so much you’re afraid you’ll turn into a drop and wash away. wow i’m actually taken aback by this movie. so full of heart and soul. i felt their pain and struggles. just such a human movie. paul giamattis lazy eye really stole the show. and davine joy randolph proves she has dramatic chops compared to her role on only murders in the building. such a wholesome movie
