This reminded me of Requiem For a Dream in the sense of how dreadful feels for so much of the movie but to counter I found it beautiful at points and fun at others. But the unsettling scenes genuinely made me recoil as a result of them being done so well
The way this movie is shot in the beginning makes it feel like a dream but as it progresses it becomes more bleak in color and energy throughout scenes to the point where it feels nightmarish at times as characters dive deeper into their own darkness
