Bong Joon Ho takes American money and talent to make what is ostensibly a mirror that he holds up against that very nation. Mickey 17 is a hilarious dark comedy that raises interesting ethical and philosophical questions that, although may not be fully explored in the depth they should have been, are pertinent to explore in relation to the type of regime in which they are raised. Themes of incompetence, greed, and disregard for the sanctity of human life are juxtaposed in ways that make for such an entertaining watch, while leaving space for reflection.

Movie's awesome. One of my fav Bong.
