i've been awake for over 24hrs. the pacing at the beginning felt a little agitated (maybe even anxious - and i understand the multiple reasons for why that is). but, once it gained its rhythm, the movie just locked me into it, and not just due to the storyline. i mean, everything else, from the acting to the simplicity depicted in each scene... just beautifully tender, beautifully bittersweet!. what a nice surprise, to randomly pick something at a streaming platform and it's actually good. many thanks to isla! :)
