  Knocked me out! The eerie and brooding atmosphere is so dense, it could make anything frightening. Quite amazing that it’s able to pull off a lady painted blue as the monster of the movie. No crazy makeup, prosthetics, or machines. Just some blue face paint. Overall quite pleasing to look at and listen to.

  I do think this is better than the American remake, but I kinda want to tip my hat to the American version because they were able…

  without a doubt the worst movie i have ever sat through at the theaters. not only was it a bad biopic, it was plain and simple a bad movie.

  Luhrmann clearly had a big budget for this and it almost feels as if he wanted it to be big and so he hired 3x as many extras than he needed and shot 10x more footage than needed. then shot chronologically and began running out of money halfway through.

  always have a hard time with these progressive movies filled with social media terms and gossip girl vibes. a solid 5 minutes of the movie i had to cover my ears because it was so damn annoying.
