Three Thousand Years of Longing 2022
As exciting as the trailer was, the movie unfortunately fell flat.
The progression felt very linear, and there wasn’t a lot of breadth to the story or characters. The plot, while entertaining, was mostly narration about the genie’s history. I don’t feel it really developed either protagonist and wasn’t particularly compelling.
Overall an entertaining time with nice visuals, but I don’t think I’ll be re-watching this.

I don’t think any movie I’ve ever watched has made me cringe as much as this train wreck. I don’t think the 5% rotten tomatoes rating is fair, because I didn’t even enjoy 1/20 of it.
The tv show did a wonderful job developing complex characters, a broad world with diverse people’s, cultures, and lores, and an engaging story that is both easy to follow for children and entertaining for adults.
