Seeing this movie is such a breath of fresh air, i haven't seen a good dark comedy like this in a while. While the concept was incredible i was more surprised that the execution did not disappoint me. The way it dealt with life and death, identities, fanaticism, existentialism and how humans with their greedy nature. It's really well done.

I've heard of the manga a long time ago from my friends but i decided to read homunculus which happened to be written by the same author who created the manga.
To think that before i watched this movie it'd be a hit or miss was pretty crazy cause I'm not a huge fan of the early 2000s mangaka choices of adapting live action movies…
