I thoroughly enjoyed this alien invasion/ scifi action thriller. With breathtaking visuals and great combat sequences! CGI and SFX, Production design were X-factors for this film. Yes, these were not perfect, still I'd say all this made the film more entertaining and engaging!

Nice story indeed! But execution did fail in the 2nd half.
Actually irrespective to the film's genre, the 1st half was quite good. The drama, the conspiracy, the mystery etc, they were revealed neatly and almost convincingly! Though emotion didn't workout that much, the crux of the story was delivered neatly. But 2nd half's execution didn't land quite well as a whole film.

This seemed like a toned down film from Bong Joon Ho. I love him for a deeply rooted conflict/plot , his intricately driven story and screenplay , we have something to get hooked up till the end.
