Love conquers all and there is not something that is so bad that it ain’t good for something(danish wordplay)how long did it take for you to decipher those two lines? Probably a lot less than 120 minutes which is what it takes for “Another round” to get to that conclusion!!! It is humorless, unimaginative, and without a single grain of craziness/madness or darkness and then it’s called “Druk” (binge-drinking); Bukowski, Harris and O’toole amongst others must be turning in their grave!

This was the third version of AN I have seen. This one called “the final cut”. Missed the rainy playboy-miserable-scene from redux, but the French intermezzo still irritates me, it seems unnecessary and pedantic, and unfittingly sentimental. It’s overall power is still undiminished though. Kurtz reciting T.S. Elliot’s “The wasteland” : “...we are the hollow men...” All of the characters are hollow, the war has stripped the humanity away from them, leaving plenty of room for the insanity to plant…
